Free Energy and the Worldwide Strategy for Suppression of That Technology

Free Energy and the Worldwide Strategy for Suppression of That Technology
When you look around you at the modern world, what stands out the most? What single thing can be said to define this modern era, as opposed to earlier times? The answer is "energy." Whether you live in Belgium or Santa Ana, Atlanta or Calgary, Mexico City or Perth, the one constant in your life is the need for energy.
The Immense Need for Energy of AH Types
Energy is needed in every aspect of modern life. From the electricity used within your home by devices like your computer, TV, Bluray player and your alarm clock to the energy needed to get your car from point A to point B, there is nothing more pervasive.
Our world needs energy; it simply cannot function without it. Moreover, that energy comes at a price. You pay for your gas by the gallon and your electricity by the watt. Energy is metered and doled out in parcels, with a premium attached to each little packet. That premium comes directly from your pocket and fattens the energy producers' bank accounts.
Of course, there is also the environmental cost of energy production. Oil and gasoline require drilling into the depths of the earth, looking for ever-scarcer deposits of crude oil. Even electricity production comes at a high cost to the environment, with pollution being only one of the many side effects that continues to damage and alter our world.
Most people think little about this. After all, you have to pay for that energy, right? You have to pay energy producers for the result of their hard work, correct?

What if there was a better way, though? Interestingly, there is a better way, but you have been kept in the dark about it. Free energy generation has been a concept for more than a hundred years. In fact, it is more than just a wistful idea, a concept without proof. It is real, but there are those who do not want you to know about it.
Who Benefits from Suppressing Free Energy Devices?
The natural question here is who actually benefits if free energy production is suppressed? The answer to that question should be glaringly obvious. Big Oil certainly benefits from suppressing innovative devices that generate free energy. If such devices were openly available for the general public, where would companies like BP earn their money?
However, Big Oil is not the only concern here. Where would your electric company get its money if you were to stop needing a steady supply from the power grid? What would investors do if you no longer needed gasoline in your car, oil for the engine or oil and gas for your home's heating and cooling system?
The government is involved as well. Through special interest groups and lobbyists, Big Oil, the word's automakers and many other entities are able to control our government and suppress things that they deem harmful to themselves.
If that sounds like "crazy talk," you need only consider the mysterious circumstances surrounding some of the most important inventors of yesterday and today. Many of these inventors were disgraced or blackmailed into taking their inventions off the market. Some have even died under what seem like more than suspicious circumstances.
What inventors have had their creations suppressed? Actually, the list is surprisingly long. There are hundreds of inventions that have been proven to offer significant benefits, only to be gobbled up and hidden away by major corporations or suppressed and forced to go underground by government agencies.

Of course, it is not just government and Big Oil that is responsible for suppressing inventions and research into free energy devices. Consider the case of Eugene Marlove, a proponent of cold fusion. He promoted the results of two Utah researchers (Rons and Fleischman) who claimed to have achieved cold fusion in their laboratory, but had their research suppressed by the very scientific community that should have supported them.
Tragically, Marlove was beaten to death on the streets of Norwich, Connecticut, by an assailant who was never brought to justice. While the police claimed robbery was the cause of the murder, many believed it was related to his work. Others researching cold fusion have also claimed to have had their work ridiculed and suppressed by the scientific and academic community.
Stanley Meyer claimed to have invented a water fuel cell that would power a vehicle, and even managed to patent the device. Meyer died suspiciously in 1998, immediately after eating at a restaurant. While cerebral aneurism was the cause cited by the coroner, many people believe that he was poisoned and that agents of Big Oil and the government were to blame.
The 5 Most Important Inventions Suppressed
While there have been hundreds of beneficial inventions suppressed by governments and corporations around the world, there are some that stand out. These include inventions from the likes of Nikola Tesla and Ed Gray, as well as others.

The Tesla Fuel-Less Generator:
Nikola Tesla is considered to have been a man ahead of his time. He was responsible for inventing the alternating current system of electricity that remains in use today, as well as for a number of other dramatic inventions. During the late 1890s, he began working on a generator that would produce electricity without the need for any fuel. However, Tesla was ruined by J.P. Morgan in an effort to keep Morgan's oil revenues high.
The Ed Gray   "the motor that runs itself"
During the 1970s, inventor Edwin V. Gray developed, built and patented a self-powering motor. Dubbed "the motor that runs itself," testing of an early prototype showed that it was far more efficient than any device then operating. In fact, his invention was of such importance that he was able to count investors like Bing Crosby and Boot Mallory in his backers. Gray died mysteriously in Nevada before his device could be brought into mass production.
Stanley Meyer's     Water Fuel Cell:
As mentioned previously, Meyer's fuel cell. This device was supposed to be enough to power a car from Los Angeles to New York and only use 22 gallons of water to do it - water, not gasoline. The fuel cell worked by splitting water into its components of oxygen and hydrogen, which were then burned as fuel. Meyer died under suspicious circumstances, which many took to be poisoning.
Thomas Beardert's                               Electromagnetic Generator:
Bearden has worked on a number of devices, including the motionless electromagnetic generator, a modified Wankel engine and several others. Due to pressure from the UN and other regulatory bodies, Bearden has not been able to produce his inventions in a commercially viable way.

Water-Splitting Technology;
Similar to Meyer's work, there have been other breakthroughs in the area of splitting water atoms apart to utilize the hydrogen and oxygen contained herein. One of the most notable was Dr. Andrija Puharich, who was granted a patent for such a device in 1983.
These are only five of the many advances in energy production technology that have been actively suppressed by the US and world governments, as well as by powerful corporations seeking to ensure a steady stream of profit to their bank accounts. However, this technology is real, and can give you the benefit of free energy - whether you want to power your car, your home or your entire block in some instances!

Energy Conservation and Energy Audit

Energy Conservation and Energy Audit

We can create a more sustainable, cleaner and safer world by making wiser energy choices.

Energy Conservation:

Nowadays, we are all aware that man's urban or modern lifestyle requires huge amounts of ever increasing energy. This is the energy required to run manufacturing units, factories, machines, automobiles, homes in terms of electricity for heating and lighting and many others to name a few. This energy is provided by fuel such as coal and oil. To produce energy is expensive and based on several researches and studies, different sources of energy produce also some bad effects on the environment and even our health.
The common sources of energy come from beneath the surface of the earth, and these are the oil, coal and natural gas. These are what we call fossil fuels which are formed by the anaerobic decomposition of buried organisms millions of years ago. Several studies also show that the formation of such fuels could even take 650 million years.
¨ Oil is made from the bodies of tiny sea creatures gathered on the seabed which where gradually squeezed down under the rocks that formed above them
¨ Coal is made from trees that died millions of years ago. Which were squeezed down until they turned into carbon.
¨ Natural gas is produced through the decomposition of animal and plant bodies
Careful considerations are needed to be able to adopt an approach that would encourage the production and consumption of the minimum amount of energy to meet such urban lifestyle. This should be an approach that would lead to efficient energy usage called energy conservation.
Energy conservation can be done through simple ways in our own homes, offices and schools by doing the following:
1. Use fuel efficient vehicles for transport.
2. As much as possible use public transport and car pooling.
3. Increase the efficiency of air conditioning units not only through building energy. efficient air conditioners but also by following best practices in controlling energy loss such as proper building insulation.
4. Switching off your electronics gadgets whenever possible. Appliances kept in stand-by mode waste a huge amount of energy when not in use.
5. Use Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL bulbs) or any other energy efficient products for lighting in heating, kitchen and electronics use.
6. Adopt recycling.
7. Use energy efficient machines.
8. Use efficient and renewable sources of energy and the dependence on fossil fuels should be reduced. So as to promote a healthier environment.
9. Encourage research in creating energy efficient building designs and appliance designs.
What about Energy Audit?
Energy audit is a critical assessment of an energy consuming facilities: at home, school, office, store, establishment and building. The said audit could be utilized to identify possible sources of energy and to save money. More importantly, audit is designed to reduce energy consumption, fuel consumption, emissions and electric bills. For an audit to be successful, it needs project planning, data collection, data analysis and recommendations or conducting a research on energy utilization and conservation. Initial researches and studies show that audit provided the following benefits: at the local level, audit provided the ability to withstand energy cost and increases environmental benefits. On the other hand, at the national level it showed deferred construction of new power plant, reduction in imported fuel conservation of dollar outflow & reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

TRIVIA:

Did You Know…?
  • Placing your air conditioner in the shade can reduce its energy used by as much as 10%.
  • Heating and cooling cost make up 45% of the typical home’s utility bill.
  • If your water heater is more than 10 years old, it is probably wasting 50% of the energy it consumes.
  • Water heating is the third largest energy consumer in your home, typically accounting for about 13% of your energy bills.
FACTS
  • Energy production and use account for nearly 88% of air pollution, more than 83% greenhouse gas emissions, and more environmental damage than any other human activity.
  • If you replace four 75-watt incandescent bulbs that burn four or more hours a day in your home with four 23-watt fluorescent bulbs, you’d get as much light and save more than 2,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity and PhP 15,000 over the 10,000-hour life of the bulbs. If all our nation’s households did the same, we’d save as much energy as is consumed by several million cars in one year.

Energy Conservation

Energy Conservation

Energy conservation is the practice of decreasing the quantity of energy used while achieving a similar outcome. This procedure may result in increase an of financial capital, environmental value, national security, personal security, and human comfort. Individuals and organizations that are direct consumers of energy may want to conserve energy in order to reduce energy costs and promote economic, political and environmental sustainability. Industrial and commercial users may want to increase efficiency and in result, this maximizes their profit.
On a larger scale, energy conservation is an important element of energy policy. In general, energy conservation reduces the energy consumption and energy demand per capita, and in result, offsets the growth in energy supply needed to keep up with population growth. This reduces the rise in energy costs, and can reduce the need for new power plants, and energy imports. The reduced energy demand can provide more flexibility in choosing the most preferred methods of energy production.
By reducing emissions, energy conservation is an important part of lessening climate change. Energy conservation facilitates the replacement of non-renewable resources with renewable energy. Energy conservation is often the most economical solution to energy shortages, and is a more environmentally benign alternative to increased energy production. For example, a form of enery conservation can be simply just recycling. Recycling reuses and renews resources, it also reduces landfill deposition and conserves natural resources.

Whos the largest energy consumer?

The U.S. is currently the largest consumer of energy, at current levels of growth, it is possible that in the future China and India could become the leading energy consumer. The U.S. Department of Energy categorizes national energy use in four broad sectors: transportation, residential, commercial, and industrial. Energy usage in the transportation and residential sectors (about half of U.S. energy consumption) is largely controlled by individual domestic consumers.
For example, Home energy consumption averages:
How to reduce home energy usage
space conditioning, 44%
water heating, 13%
lighting, 12%
refrigeration, 8%
home electronics, 6%
laundry appliances, 5%
kitchen appliances, 4%
other uses, 8%
Energy usage in some homes may vary widely from these averages. For example, milder regions such as the southern U.S. and Pacific coast of the USA need far less energy for space conditioning than New York City or Chicago. On the other hand, air conditioning energy use can be quite high in hot-arid regions (Southwest) and hot-humid zones (Southeast) In milder climates such as San Diego, lighting energy may easily consume up to 40% of total energy. Certain appliances such as a hot tub, or pre-1990 refrigerator use significant amounts of electricity. However, recent trends in home entertainment equipment can make a large difference in household energy use. For instance a 50" LCD television (average on-time= 6 hours a day) may draw 300 Watts less than a similarly sized plasma system. In most residences no single appliance dominates, and any conservation efforts must be directed to a number of areas in order to achieve substantial energy savings. However, Ground and Water Source Heat Pump systems are the more energy efficient, there are environmentally clean, and cost-effective space conditioning systems available (Environmental Protection Agency), and can achieve reductions in energy consumptions of up to 70%!

More for the future?

In 1901 Texas wildcatters struck oil near here at a place called Spindletop, setting off the Texas Oil Boom. The Texas Oil Boom helped to build America.People moved across the country in search of a new life where they can develope and achieve their ideas. But these ideas requires a large amount of energy. But as the need for energy has caused oil and gass prices to increase making many people cant afford it and the society would soon corrupt.
In December 10th 2007, Texas has declared an experiment that would expanded the use of oil by opening a new oil well. They claimed that "when this expansion is complete, this facility will be one of the preeminent refineries on the Gulf Coast will become the largest in the United States and one of the largest in the world." We are living in a time where oil supply is increasing its demand. As everyone knows, tight supplies in a time of heightened demand lead to higher prices. These higher prices are an indirect tax on the American family and to prevent this, more oil should be made. Now, investments are being made, in both alternative energy and conventional sources, that will boost supply and reduce prices. The international energy agency concluded that "at home, U.S. energy demand will increase by 23 percent over the same period, with a 19 percent increase in the demand for oil and other liquid fuels." Today is not just an investment in a single refinery, it’s an investment in America’s future prosperity. Likewise, we must seek out new energy sources and new technologies and we must work with Congress, the states and the private sector to establish policies and programs that will make those investments, like this one, even more attractive. We must do all we can to ensure the availability and the affordability of oil and gas in our country. if this fails,it would have a negative impact on the U.S. economy and lead, to a reduction in the quality of life. It took a long time for America to get to this point; the progress we need to make to enhance our energy security through the diversification and creation of new energy supplies, suppliers and supply routes won’t happen overnight. But, as this ground breaking indicates, that effort is starting.

Selecting and Installing a Geothermal Heat Pump System

Selecting and Installing a Geothermal Heat Pump System

Heating and Cooling Efficiency of Geothermal Heat Pumps

The heating efficiency of ground-source and water-source heat pumps is indicated by their coefficient of performance (COP), which is the ratio of heat provided in Btu per Btu of energy input. Their cooling efficiency is indicated by the Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER), which is the ratio of the heat removed (in Btu per hour) to the electricity required (in watts) to run the unit. Look for the ENERGY STAR® label, which indicates a heating COP of 2.8 or greater and an EER of 13 or greater.
Manufacturers of high-efficiency geothermal heat pumps voluntarily use the EPA ENERGY STAR label on qualifying equipment and related product literature. If you are purchasing a geothermal heat pump and uncertain whether it meets ENERGY STAR qualifications, ask for an efficiency rating of at least 2.8 COP or 13 EER.
Many geothermal heat pump systems carry the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and EPA ENERGY STAR label. Ask your contractor about special financing or incentives for purchasing energy efficient products, including ENERGY STAR qualified products.

Economics of Geothermal Heat Pumps

Geothermal heat pumps save money in operating and maintenance costs. While the initial purchase price of a residential GHP system is often higher than that of a comparable gas-fired furnace and central air-conditioning system, it is more efficient, thereby saving money every month. For further savings, GHPs equipped with a device called a "desuperheater" can heat the household water. In the summer cooling period, the heat that is taken from the house is used to heat the water for free. In the winter, water heating costs are reduced by about half.
Although initially more expensive to install than conventional systems, properly sized and installed GHPs deliver more energy per unit consumed than conventional systems.
And since geothermal heat pumps are generally more efficient, they are less expensive to operate and maintain — typical annual energy savings range from 30% to 60%. Depending on factors such as climate, soil conditions, the system features you choose, and available financing and incentives, you may even recoup your initial investment in two to ten years through lower utility bills.
But when included in a mortgage, your GHP will have a positive cash flow from the beginning. For example, say that the extra $3,500 will add $30 per month to each mortgage payment. The energy cost savings will easily exceed that added mortgage amount over the course of each year.
On a retrofit, the GHP's high efficiency typically means much lower utility bills, allowing the investment to be recouped in two to ten years. It may also be possible to include the purchase of a GHP system in an "energy-efficient mortgage" that would cover this and other energy-saving improvements to the home. Banks and mortgage companies can provide more information on these loans.
There may be a number of special financing options and incentives available to help offset the cost of adding a geothermal heat pump (GHP) to your home. These provisions are available from federal, state, and local governments; power providers; and banks or mortgage companies that offer energy-efficient mortgage loans for energy-saving home improvements. Be sure the system you're interested in qualifies for available incentives before you make your final purchase.
To find out more about financing and incentives that are available to you, visit the Database of State Incentives for Renewable Energy (DSIRE) Web site. The site is frequently updated with the latest incentives. You should also check with your electric utility and ask if they offer any rebates, financing, or special electric rate programs.

Evaluating Your Site for a Geothermal Heat Pump

Because shallow ground temperatures are relatively constant throughout the United States, geothermal heat pumps (GHPs) can be effectively used almost anywhere. However, the specific geological, hydrological, and spatial characteristics of your land will help your local system supplier/installer determine the best type of ground loop for your site:

Geology

Factors such as the composition and properties of your soil and rock (which can affect heat transfer rates) require consideration when designing a ground loop. For example, soil with good heat transfer properties requires less piping to gather a certain amount of heat than soil with poor heat transfer properties. The amount of soil available contributes to system design as well — system suppliers in areas with extensive hard rock or soil too shallow to trench may install vertical ground loops instead of horizontal loops.

Hydrology

Ground or surface water availability also plays a part in deciding what type of ground loop to use. Depending on factors such as depth, volume, and water quality, bodies of surface water can be used as a source of water for an open-loop system, or as a repository for coils of piping in a closed-loop system. Ground water can also be used as a source for open-loop systems, provided the water quality is suitable and all ground water discharge regulations are met.
Before you purchase an open-loop system, you will want to be sure your system supplier/installer has fully investigated your site's hydrology, so you can avoid potential problems such as aquifer depletion and groundwater contamination. Antifreeze fluids circulated through closed-loop systems generally pose little to no environmental hazard.

Land Availability

The amount and layout of your land, your landscaping, and the location of underground utilities or sprinkler systems also contribute to your system design. Horizontal ground loops (generally the most economical) are typically used for newly constructed buildings with sufficient land. Vertical installations or more compact horizontal "Slinky™" installations are often used for existing buildings because they minimize the disturbance to the landscape.

Installing Geothermal Heat Pumps

Because of the technical knowledge and equipment needed to properly install the piping, a GHP system installation is not a do-it-yourself project. To find a qualified installer, call your local utility company, the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association or the Geothermal Heat Pump Consortium for their listing of qualified installers in your area. Installers should be certified and experienced. Ask for references, especially for owners of systems that are several years old, and check them.
The ground heat exchanger in a GHP system is made up of a closed or open loop pipe system. Most common is the closed loop, in which high density polyethylene pipe is buried horizontally at 4-6 feet deep or vertically at 100 to 400 feet deep. These pipes are filled with an environmentally friendly antifreeze/water solution that acts as a heat exchanger. In the winter, the fluid in the pipes extracts heat from the earth and carries it into the building. In the summer, the system reverses and takes heat from the building and deposits it to the cooler ground.
The air delivery ductwork distributes the heated or cooled air through the house's duct work, just like conventional systems. The box that contains the indoor coil and fan is sometimes called the air handler because it moves house air through the heat pump for heating or cooling. The air handler contains a large blower and a filter just like conventional air conditioners.
Most geothermal heat pumps are automatically covered under your homeowner's insurance policy. Contact your insurance provider to find out what its policy is. Even if your provider will cover your system, it is best to inform them in writing that you own a new system.

Consumer’s responsibility to conserve energy

Consumer’s responsibility to conserve energy

Consumers coming to the utilities for innovative ways to educate the consumer first of all, in other words some form of education to conserve energy to assist with the energy crisis, and then also the energy devices that one can implement either those which are relatively inexpensive or those that are more expensive.

What are some of the options consumers have?

If we have a look at just the simple basic habits - that’s switching off lights, buy low voltage bulbs (CFL-LED), switch off faucets, put timers on and or photocells, when you fill up the kettle only boil the water you require for your cup of coffee. I think this is a way of life, and it is about lifestyle - perhaps we are accustomed to something different, it’s now about saying “how can I be more energy efficient?” because I understand as a consumer that the crisis we are currently faced with at the moment goes beyond the responsibility of the utilities. This is the consumer’s responsibility - it’s not going to be solved overnight, but as consumers we can in fact take that role. Our appeal to homeowners is to say “how are we in fact conserving energy, and contributing or assisting in actually solving/minimizing the problem?” If each and every one went a little bit of the way - perhaps an energy saving of 5% or 10% can easily go a long way to assist in the energy crisis.

We still have to depend on wind turbines and solar power - we have batteries that we need to get in order to help to save those power needs as well - are we able to afford them?

I think when we have a look at things like a wind turbine and solar panels those are expensive items - but if you take the average house 20% of the electricity is actually used in the lights. If you used a low voltage bulb for example you’d save 650% of the actual lighting energy that you require - those are inexpensive ways to go about it.

When we use our vehicle, try to accomplish multiple errands at one time, you will save fuel and wear.

We also must look at conserving water – this is resource that sustains life, it must be preserved and not waited or abused. See if you can harvest and utilize rainwater.

Benefits of Hiring Draiman an Energy/Utility Consultant

Benefits of Hiring Draiman an Energy/Utility Consultant

In these tough economic times, wouldn’t you like a risk free audit to reduce your expenses and increase your bottom line with no additional costs?

If you are having a tough time understanding all of the ins and outs of buying electricity & natural gas, understanding your utility bills - Electric, Gas, Water, Telecom; then you should strongly consider hiring an Energy/Utility Consultant.  Energy/Utility consultants offer a wide range of services and they understand that you have plenty of other things to do; like focusing on running other more important parts of your own company. Whether you are a small business or big corporation, your main goal is always going to be to focus on your core business. By hiring someone who’s a specialist in energy/utility prices, you give yourself the relief that your energy/utility bills are being handled with care and the freedom to concentrate on your core business.
An efficient Utility Consultant/Auditor, will review all your utility bills - Gas, Electric, Water and Telecom. An audit will verify that you are not being billed unnecessary charges and that you are paying the most economical and advantageous tariffs available for your account.
Here is the process that you can expect when you hire an energy/utility consultant. First, the energy/utility consultant is going to take a look at your electric and other utility bills. Signing an authorization form with your energy/utility consultant will allow that person to request the historical usage of your building(s) from your electric/utility provider(s). They then will look at the meter’s account numbers and make sure that everything has been included in the historical usage information. The energy/utility consultant will want to make sure that they know, with strong certainty, the range of energy/utility that you consume on a monthly and annual basis. Even though this is tedious work, it is very important to double check; Once this information has been validated, then your auditor/consultant will begin approaching energy/utility providers on your behalf with the intent to reduce your costs.
They are going to, initially, take a look and see if you have any existing contracts in place. If you do, then the energy/utility consultant will analyze your existing contract to see what terms he or she can improve for you.
If that person thinks that they can find a better deal in your market, then they will speak with you about those opportunities. Your energy/utility consultant will ensure that all of the suppliers’ bids are apples to apples comparisons. This means that they will make sure that all charges are included inside of the energy/utility price and that there are no hidden pass-through or surprises, like higher demand charges, renewable energy charges, or other ancillary charges. Once this has been reviewed, then the energy/utility consultant will prepare a savings report that will show you your different options. The energy/utility consultant will then discuss your savings report with you and report on whether there is an existing savings opportunity. They will work with you to pick a term and reserve the rate with your new supplier.
The right energy/utility consultant for your company is going to be the one that makes you most comfortable about how their knowledge of the market, experience and relationships with energy/utility providers will give you the best opportunity to achieve your energy/utility procurement goals. It is important not to forget that finding the right energy/utility consultant for your company will allow you to focus on other issues that are important to your company’s success.
It’s important to understand that when purchasing gas or electric on the open market the pricing that you will see will change daily, based on the commodity. This means that if you aren’t ready to make a decision that day, then in most cases, the price will be different when you are. The energy/utility consultant will be able to get refreshed data for you if you choose to wait weeks or months before you decide to pull the trigger. The market is going to move up and down all of the time. So, an energy/utility consultant should have their eyes on the market and also be able to spot when there’s a dip in the market. If they do this correctly, then they will take advantage of the opportunity and present it to you so that you can purchase gas and power at an attractive rate.
A utility audit can include a potential tax refund for manufacturing and a building envelope analysis which also includes mechanical systems and equipment.
You have absolutely nothing to lose. This is a “winning” situation for the client as well as the auditor.  If money is saved the auditor gets a share of the savings and the client receives a refund and/or reduces the utility expenses.

"Paying for utility costs without using a Utility Auditor and Monitor is like driving a car at night with the lights turned off"

"Paying for utility costs without using a Utility Auditor and Monitor is like driving a car at night with the lights turned off"

For all you energy, telecom and utility needs
“It is cheaper to save energy than make energy”

Cost Control Program

In many organizations the management of utility costs is not a top priority. Utility invoices are typically processed by accounts payable departments without any meaningful review or verification. Most management attention is devoted to the cost of labor and materials. Considering that energy and telecommunications costs can make up as much as 30 percent of an organization's overall operating budget (depends on the type of business) – utility cost reductions, even the most modest ones, can significantly improve profitability.
To relieve businesses of the burden (i.e., time, expense and distraction) of developing and maintaining the resources and expertise to internally verify, validate and analyze utility expenditures,  a utility auditor develops the “Cost Control Program”. This program is designed to identify and pursue potential refund and cost savings opportunities – reducing your utility costs and improving your profits.

Consumers and businesses pay billions of dollars in utility expenses, including electric, water/sewer, gas, telecom, cable/dish and steam. Also waiver of tax on production costs. Are you certain you and/or your business are paying the correct amount? What if it isn't? Without an expert audit, you may never know if your business is due refunds, savings, and credits from overcharges that appear in a surprisingly large percentage of utility bills.
You may want to implement energy conservation and or install renewable energy system/equipment – take advantage of rebates, incentives and tax credits.

In an environment of rising interest rates, corporate managers need to protect cash flow by cutting containable costs. One often-overlooked area of potentially excessive operating expenses: corporate utility bills. Recent surveys suggest those bills may, in as many as four out of five cases, include overcharges or other errors.

PS
Understanding Your Utility Rate Codes
If you feel that your natural gas and electricity bills are almost indecipherable, you are not alone. The Utility’s constantly changing rates and regulations, while aimed at reducing your consumption and penalizing you if you don’t, can leave your business with the most costly solution. But the responsibility for figuring out which rate is best for your business is not on the Utility, it is on your business. And you thought you just had to pay the bill on time.
Paying the Lowest Rate
Our Natural Gas and Electricity Audit Service systematically evaluates the regulations that determine your utility charges. We monitor changes in the regulatory rules and legislative initiatives that affect your rates. Most importantly, we evaluate all of your utility bills to confirm that the rate categories and charges are best suited for your business. We manage this portion of your operational costs, freeing up time for you to focus on your core business functions.
Best of All—It Costs Your Business Nothing
Once our team completes the audit of your current rates, the findings are shared with you. If the potential for savings and even refunds are discovered, we earn a monthly fee once you see those savings. If we find no potential savings/refunds, you pay nothing.

"Do not punish the masses for the sins of the few"

"Do not punish the masses for the sins of the few"

This applies to any and all rights and privileges stated in the Constitution of the United States.

For example “The Right to Bear and Keep Arms”. The Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. There are many more.

Nowhere does the Constitution give the President or the Congress the power to federalize state crimes or enact gun control legislation -- not even in a national emergency. One reads the Constitution in vain for such a delegation of authority by "We, the People" through the several states. Very instructive on this point are the Kentucky Resolutions of 1798 which were written by Thomas Jefferson.
The federal government in 1798 enacted a law making it illegal to criticize a federal official (the Sedition Act). Kentucky and Virginia passed resolutions declaring that the national law was unenforceable in their states.
These are among the arguments that Jefferson made in the Kentucky resolutions:
...whensoever’s the general government assumes un-delegated powers, its acts are un-authoritative, void, and of no force: ...that the government created by this compact was not made the exclusive or final judge of the extent of the powers delegated to itself;...each party has an equal right to judge for itself, as well of infractions as of the mode and measure of redress.
Jefferson went on to spell out that the only powers to punish crime delegated to the federal government were 1) treason, 2) counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the United States, 3) piracies and 4) offenses against the law of nations. In this context, Jefferson cited the Tenth Amendment as providing a limit to any expansion of authority for punishing crime by the federal government. He quoted it verbatim in the Kentucky resolutions: "the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Anyone who has observed children will recognize that, ironically, they often demonstrate a more stringent and uncompromising sense of justice than the adults around them. A small child who must divide a piece of cake, for example, will be excruciatingly precise in cutting it lest the "chooser" glom on to a larger slice. Whether the issue is whose turn it is to clear the dishes, take out the trash, or who broke that lamp, young people appeal to an almost innate sense of propriety in demanding they be treated fairly and equitably.
This tendency to rigor is perhaps even more evident when parents must mete out punishments and rewards. To be falsely penalized for something they did not do will stir up the loudest and shrillest of complaints among the innocent offspring.
Too many adults, unfortunately, mildly, meekly, and silently accept such collectivist justice when dealing with social and political issues.
The essence of a moral view of justice entails a recognition that only individuals can be held accountable for the right and wrong they do. Because each of us possesses free will and, thus, the capacity to make choices among alternatives, when we act upon our best (or sometimes worst) judgment, we and we alone are who should reap the benefits of selecting wisely and appropriately...and we and we alone should be the ones to suffer the negative consequences of picking hastily, foolishly, or ignorantly.
If good and evil are to mean anything, our moral autonomy as beings with the capacity for rational behavior must be acknowledged and accepted. Any other basis for determining who is responsible for destructive or constructive outcomes leads to the kind of schizophrenic legal and political realm nipping at our heels today.
This individualistic conception of justice did not always hold sway. Indeed, collectivistic guilt has a long history. In Christian theology, we are all guilty of sin because of the behavior of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Throughout the past, whole families -- sometimes entire cities -- were held responsible for what fathers or kings might have done. The average citizen of ancient Carthage would have had little influence on the policies of his leaders. Nevertheless, he paid the price of Rome's disfavor when his home was razed and the ground salted.
Our Founding Fathers recognized the inherent injustice in accepting the doctrine of collective guilt, i.e., visiting unto the sons the sins of the father. Article III of the Constitution says that "no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood." In other words, the family of a traitor cannot be punished simply because the members are related to the perpetrator.
The bulk of the legal code under which we labor today, however, is rife with violations of this principle. The general collectivization of our culture in the Twentieth Century permeates every crack and crevice of our relationship with the law. Incoherently, our politicians hold individual citizens blameless for many of the negative conditions in their lives (e.g., being poor, homeless, addicted to drugs, sexual promiscuous, or abysmally ignorant) while pointing a narrow finger at us all. "Society" does not provide enough resources (i.e., money) or understanding or opportunities.
But "society" is only an abstraction, a way of describing the relationships, the actions, the beliefs of individuals. Despite what every dictator or tyrant or statist has proclaimed, society as a separate entity does not literally exist apart from and above the separate and distinct individuals who comprise it. Just as the ideas of "right" and "left" have no meaning when divorced from the people involved, so too, "society" loses its coherence when reified (and too often, deified).
In addition to supplying a (poor) rationale for the plethora of social programs dragging us down -- from Social Security and Medicare to business subsidies and disaster relief -- the notion of collective responsibility, obligation, or guilt obliterates proper understanding and application of justice and equity by punishing the innocent majority for the transgressions of the criminal few.
Most regulations, laws, and prohibitions are propounded by pointing out that certain abuses have occurred in the past. Thus, because certain people have engaged in improper behavior, everyone must be presumed to be a potential criminal and have his choices and actions inspected, constrained, or curtailed. Such legal machinations act as a kind of prior restraint. They sanction the notion that the agents of the government must, in essence, punish citizens -- for potential improprieties -- beforehand by means of dictates, fees, or restrictions on what they do and/or how they do it.
But an implicit assumption of guilt -- before you have even acted -- violates the constitutionally recognized principle that you can only be punished after you have actually done something wrong. Even then, the legal system must assume the innocence of the accused. The courts must prove you are guilty. To make you prove you are innocent -- as most regulations on business and individuals do -- is rank injustice. To add insult to the injury, many of the laws strangling us today are based on some group's notion of morality regardless of whether or not you have actually violated anyone's rights (for example, with consensual "crimes" such as prostitution, drug use, and gambling).
Affirmative action policies punish those who were never racist for the sins of those long dead, an indirect "corruption of blood." Business regulations assume that only state scrutiny prevents all entrepreneurs from being polluters, swindlers, and cheaters. Sexual harassment and anti-discrimination laws (whether for sex, race, ethnic background, age, or disability) squeeze us all into narrow-minded compartments of barely suppressed bigotry held in check only by the good graces of the bureaucrats.
Tens of thousands of gun (i.e., people) control laws treat peaceful, rights-respecting individuals as criminals held at bay only because they must jump through arbitrary, unconstitutional hoops that disarm and endanger millions while leaving the field unchallenged to the rapists, robbers, and burglars.
The "rule of law" has morphed into the "rule of men." Politicians, regulators, and law enforcement agents see us today as blank, faceless, and interchangeable segments of whatever particular group they have focused upon. No longer are we treated as distinct individuals. Instead we are lumped together, punished for no sin of our own, treated not as innocent individuals, but as untrustworthy villains-by-proxy.
The Constitution has been turned on its head. Instead of the individual at the pinnacle of the pyramid, today he is crushed by the weight of the masses who take precedence in their anonymity over his unique and individual life and personality. Instead of the individual being able to do anything not prohibited and the state only that which is permitted, in modern society, the abstract (and literally nonexistent) state has virtually carte blanche to chase after every whim. The true, fundamental component of our culture -- a single, real, breathing person -- is bound and chained, able to choose only from a narrower and narrower range of what is allowed him as a privilege, not a right.
As mentioned, the very notion of "rights" has itself been both bloated and choked. On the one hand, "rights" to health care, housing, food, education and on and on are manufactured out of thin air. On the other hand, property rights -- the foundation for implementing the right to your own existence -- is suppressed by the rampant moral inflation of bogus rights. Coupled with both malign neglect and direct attacks upon property, we drift without legal anchor or direction.
To restore freedom, we must reclaim the moral initiative. We must re-consecrate respect for justice as a trait of the individual, not the collective. We must hold as sacrosanct our right to earn and hold property, to direct its use, and to wield it as a shield against malefactors. We must proclaim our right as free, autonomous, and sovereign individuals to do what we want, say what we will, and build our lives without the permission, sanction, or approval of any group. As long as we respect the same rights of all others, we should and must never be punished for the transgressions of the few.

American Workers lose jobs to foreign companies is our fault

American Workers lose jobs to foreign companies is our fault

We lost our manufacturing base, but the loss was the result of a number of factors.   1) After WW2 we in 1946 rebuilt the factories that were destroyed in the war.    We did so with modern Tech while at home we made due with what we had.  2) We fostered the growth of corrupt labor unions.   These labor unions fought the rebuilding and modernization of the plants, 3) The University of Chicago credo - 'what is the bottom line' took hold, and essential research and development was eliminated and 4) Nafta and globalization.

The sum of these factors resulted in the loss of America in its manufactured products.    It also meant that innovation replaced hard research and more importantly it allowed foreign manufacturers to compete on equal terms with home industries.  Finally, domestic taxes and political policies broke the camel's back.

In the late 60's the Town of Manistee Michigan offered 1% financing for 150% of the cost of locating a plant in the town, and offered a site for locating the plant was ideal.     Due to my work with Jackson Realty, I was asked to attempt to market the property.    Every company I contacted had one word to say to me - no!!!!     The reason was that the Michigan Governor, Soapy Williams, was in the pocket of labor unions and they felt that labor costs would create such an hostile environment that paying top dollar for the real estate and top dollar for the financing was cheaper than a bargain  price and 1% financing in the State of Michigan.

Toyota does not have the UAW imposed restrictions or pay scale, nor does it have the tax the rich 'cline' that is so common in the 'rust belt.'     It thus, has the ability to produce a vehicle that is competitive in price and quality that earns the company a profit and allows the public to afford the vehicle.

This is not to say that you have to do a 'tag' day for GM.    They still make 10-20% on some models of their vehicles; however, they have the residual of all the evils that they tolerated in the last half of the 20th Century.     Toyota has fresh plant, younger workers, and no 'tail.'

The University of Chicago attitude - bottom line - is still the credo of the American population and no matter what we do to compete, if we do not recognize that basic research is not an expendable commodity we are going to continue to fall behind.

American workers are also losing service jobs to other countries – via the telephone lines and the internet. Microsoft, HP, Dell and others are utilizing other nations and their workers to provide Americans with customer support.

The question is where and when does it all end.

It is time for the American worker to utilize our knowledge and infrastructure to produce an efficient quality product with good endurance and quality control. We have the knowledge, we have the capability and resources, all we need is the will power and determination and nothing will stand in our way of accomplishing these tasks.
We now have at least one of the opportunities among many is the renewable energy industry – let us not miss the boat.
We can turn around the automobile industry, utilizing the new demand for fuel efficient automobiles and alternative fuels, all we have to do is work together cohesively for a common goal. (Workers, union and management) These apply to many other American industries.

What happened to our pride “MADE IN THE USA?”

Rebuilding Trust in Our Government (R)

Rebuilding Trust in Our Government (R)
Trust in Our Government (R)
One of Americas statesmen stated “government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.” His presidency ushered in an era of disdain for government and a widespread cynicism that government could be effective in addressing our challenges.
Today, as we confront a crisis that has shaken confidence in our financial system and economy, we have an opportunity to restore public trust and confidence in the legitimate role of government. Indeed, to effectively tackle our economic challenges and to implement the reforms we need in our healthcare, education, energy, and environmental policies, our government will need to garner strong public support.
However, rebuilding public trust will not happen in the face of a pervasive perception that government is not transparent and accountable, cronyism is rampant, and public officials are more interested in helping themselves than in serving the public good.
Taking strong, swift, and decisive action to address abuses and begin to rebuild public trust should be the first priority for our city, state and federal government in the new legislative session.
Create a Task Force on Public Integrity with a mission to develop a comprehensive proposal for ethics and lobbying reform in our city and state. Which addresses reforms in three areas: (1) strengthening enforcement of ethics, campaign finance, and lobbying laws; (2) strengthening civil and criminal penalties for abuses; and (3) improving awareness and education for public officials.
Reinforce honesty, integrity and transparency by government officials as the core requirement to be and stay in office, any violations of these core tenets will cause the removal of the public official and the loss of “all benefits” retroactive. I think we should consider putting public official on a base salary plus commission based on performance.
While the many of our elected officials and government employees are honest, dedicated public servants, the actions of a few create a dark cloud over all.
Taking strong, swift, and decisive action to address these abuses and begin to rebuild public trust should be the first priority for our city, state and federal government in the new legislative session.

PS

We need honest government with integrity.

“Good leaders create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and relentlessly drive it to completion”

Public confidence in the integrity of the Government is indispensable to faith in democracy; and when we lose faith in the system, we have lost faith in everything we fight and spend for.

As citizens of this democracy, you are the rulers and the ruled, the law-givers and the law-abiding, the beginning and the end.

English as the official language of The USA

English as the official language of The USA

As far as I know the official language of the United States is ENGLISH. (defacto)
I am astounded at how far our government and various Utility companies and others have distorted and resorted to abolish/modify English as our language.
When I contact various companies and utilities, I am given a choice to punch a button for English or Spanish.
English should not be a choice, it should be mandatory.
In some stores you cannot even find literature in English, only in Spanish.
Any company/Organization who does not default to English automatically should be boy cut from doing business with.
Any one who wants to live in this country legally and benefit (any benefit whatsoever) from our system, must speak, read and write English or be deported.
When you travel around the world, no country has subrogated their language to any other foreign language, why should we.
We should demand from our government – Federal, State, and County and any local governments and agencies throughout the United States to implement that strategy or be thrown out of office
Immigrants prior to naturalization must show by law the understanding of the ENGLISH language
English literacy requirement as a component in the naturalization
of aliens within the United States. Surprisingly, such a requirement
2
Has existed in statutory form for less than 100 years, having first been enacted in 1906.
Currently, federal law (8 U.S.C. Section 1423) provides that:
(a) No person except as otherwise provided in this
subchapter shall hereafter be naturalized as a citizen of the United States upon his own application who cannot demonstrate — (1) an understanding of the English language, including an ability to read, write,
and speak words in ordinary usage in the English language:

"The Committee to maintain English as our official language"
The English language shall be the official language of the United States. As the official language, the English language shall be used for all public acts including every order, resolution, vote, or election, and for all records and judicial proceedings of the Government of the United States and the governments of the several States.

Alternative Education - Values

Alternative Education - Values

Each one of us must identify the values we want to live by. We need to take the time to know ourselves and penetrate layers of conditioning to arrive at our true selves
Value education is education in values and education towards the inculcation of values. Implicit in this definition is the conviction that value education is a universal phenomenon intrinsic to all learning and education, whether at home or in an institution. It is not. Neither teaches us to be critical thinkers or to regard ourselves as proactive beings in relation to ourselves, our community and humanity at large. Unwittingly and through habit we accept most things handed out to us by the media, the government and the polity. Unfortunately when there is so much talk about individual capabilities and potentialities, there is so little confidence on the part of the individual about his own power to make a difference. Our educational system is of little help. We are not trained to be proactive thinkers because we are told so little of the life values that are the basis for creative thinking.

What really is education? It is not literacy, nor information. Education is a systematic attempt towards human learning. All learning is subjective and self-related. Educational activity starts with the individual—who am I? Where am I going? Where have I come from? It is only with an understanding of the Self that we can begin to understand our relationships with others and the environment.

Knowledge should not be made remote from individual reality and irrelevant to the individual. Knowledge can never be 'learned'. Knowledge is the fruit of experience and experience is the sensation of the individual. Individual experience is an internal happening and is the function of awareness. And one of the processes of knowing ourselves, of raising our awareness, is to be able to identify and clarify our values. Education in values is essential in helping each one of us directly encounter the values that we hold, understand them completely, so that we may order our relationships to the environment that lies outside us. Once we are clear about values we shall be better able to sift and control information of the natural world, make wise choices and be creative in our mental processes.

'Know thyself' is what each of us needs to do; yet modern life
moves at such a pace that we seldom take the time to examine ourselves. We become strangers to our own selves. We follow the dictates of others blindly. Why should any debate be left to a few 'experts'? Why is not critical thinking an integral part of everyday life? It must be so if we are to create a sane society.

For this to happen we must be equipped to examine our values. These are our internal guideposts. Much of the great literature of the world—from Bhagavad Gita
to Socrates to Hamlet—has dwelled on value choices and moral dilemmas that are bound to occur when your values are clearly defined. Values do conflict. Making value choices is not easy, but it is this very thing we must confront and make part of our lives if we are to be truly creative human beings. Moral dilemmas are only possible for those who have strongly held principles and it is through these moral dilemmas that new and revolutionary thought processes emerge and character develops.

Value conflicts are the strongest test of character. Yet, today, moral dilemmas are considered a waste of time, a domain for 'losers'. Ultimately we declare all value assertions unscientific and relative, hence dispensable. We do not realize that value conflict is healthy, necessary and by eliminating it we are also erasing all conviction. Confucius once said: "If a man carefully cultivates values in his conduct, he may still err a little but he won't be far from the standard of truth."

It is time to clarify these values that we speak of. It is up to each one of us to determine the society we will create by deciding upon the values we will emphasize today. But first, let us be clear about the categories of values. These are three-universal, cultural or ethnic and individual or personal values.

UNIVERSAL VALUES

Freedom consists not in refusing to recognize anything above us, but in respecting something which is above us; for by respecting it, we raise ourselves to it, and, by our very acknowledgement, prove that we bear within ourselves what is higher, and are worthy to be on a level with it.
—Goethe

Universal values reveal the essence of the human condition. These arise out of the fundamental questions-Who am I? What is my essence? Who am I when I remove myself from my social and cultural environment? Is there anything in me that cannot be explained by heredity, environment and society?

It is universal values that indicate the essence of the human condition. It is through universal values that we link ourselves with humanity and the cosmos; it is through these that all barriers of time, place and ethnicity are eliminated.

These values are not manifest. They must be experienced, as one experiences a sunrise, the beauty of a flower, as one experiences joy, pleasure, bliss, awe, serenity. These values cannot be contained by words. That the Upanishads and the Bible have remained relevant today as they were centuries ago, tells us that at the core, there are some constants in human condition, that time has not changed. That we are still moved by the wonder of the Taj Mahal, the music
of Mozart, the life
of Hamlet, the perennial philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita speaks volumes about the mystery and timelessness of universal values.

Universal values can be experienced as life, joy, brotherhood, love, compassion, service, bliss, truth and eternity.

CULTURAL VALUES

If you see in any given situation only what everybody else can see, you can be said to be so much a representative of your culture that you are a victim of it.
—S.I. Hayakawa Cultural values are the social values of the day. They are specific to time and place and can be used just as much as misused. These values are concerned with right and wrong, good and bad, customs and behavior. They are meant to maintain social order.

Cultural values are speculative and there is nothing wrong with speculating. But it becomes wrong when speculation becomes 'truth', when opinion becomes 'fact' and when prejudice becomes the 'cause'. When cultural values are elevated to the status of universal values, there is the risk of intolerance, oppression, demagoguery, brutality and aggression. A cultural value may serve a function in a particular situation and circumstance, but in no way can it be seen as the only or the best way of doing things. A spoon can serve the function of lifting food but so can a fork, a knife, a spatula or bare fingers. A cultural value similarly has limited relevance and the fact that it serves a particular function in a given society does not imply that it is the only or best way of doing so.

When seen in this light, cultural values have the advantage of becoming a source of insight into a time and society. Creative development of ideas often emerges out of an interaction of different cultural values and an understanding and respect for differences. Much of what we find exciting and interesting has in fact come from a meeting of cultures. The Renaissance came about from a meeting of the ancient Greek and medieval European cultures. Jazz is African-European music and the American Transcendentalists studied the Indian Vedas and Upanishads. The East heavily influenced writers such as Aldous Huxley, Somerset Maugham and Carl Jung. Gandhi drew inspiration from Tolstoy, and Martin Luther King Jr. was in turn, deeply affected by Gandhi.

If all one knows is one's own culture, there is narcissism. The study of other cultures gives us a wider frame of reference. And the study of other cultures is through its sacred (poetic, mythic, religious) traditions and not only through studying history.

Cultural values are reflected in language, ethics, social hierarchy, aesthetics, education, law, economics, philosophy and social institutions of every kind.

INDIVIDUAL VALUES
That civilization perishes in which the individual thwarts the revelation of the universal.
—Rabindranath Tagore

Individual values are our private principles, the result of individual personality and individual experiences. Parents, teachers and one's peer group shape individual values. Personal values determine the differing reactions of people to similar events. A crisis may dim one person's enthusiasm and land him in depression, while another may be propelled into greater action.

Individual values are reflected in individual goals, vows, relationships, commitments and personal preferences. These are often colored by memories of the past and therefore there are differences in the meaning attributed to a common experience. To one person children denote happiness
and strength, to another they may denote bondage. Individual values are malleable, often contained in a time and memory warp. They can transform themselves into universal values when you practice awareness and living in the moment.

After clarifying our values, we must determine which of the three are most meaningful for us after considering the relative priority of each category, so that we may be able to confront these and understand our own psychological and social conditioning.

>Beyond our ego (sense of self) and identity (sense of belonging to a group) that dictates what we know, think, feel and how we act lies the universal identity. Dissonance between ego and identity can create anxiety and alienation but acting upon universal values will not, for here it is authentic action emanating from an authentic Self. Universal values are at the top of the list. The others have their place but it is through universal values that we experience a sense of oneness with the human race.

Universal values must be our foundation if we are to enjoy a rich, profound and fulfilling life. Our personal and cultural biases limit and distort our perception of the universal wonder that is life. Even as the hands of a clock are powered from the center that remains ever still, so the universal values remain ever at the center of human life, no matter where the hands of time are pointing—past, present or future.
