YJ Draiman officially running for mayor of Los Angeles
"I want to fight for a better future for all the people of I decided to run for Mayor of Los Angeles. Before I could make that commitment, I needed to free up the time required to do the job right. Therefore, I decided to devote full time to the job of Mayor.
I am motivated by the wish to serve the Los Angeles Los Angeles
I previously ran for City Council in District 12.
I decided that to do the job right I must run for Mayor.
I am an Energy/Utility Auditor/Consultant for over 20 years.
I am married to a darling wife, we have two grown children – my oldest son is David Draiman a famous Rock Star with a Band by the name Disturbed, my younger son is a Psychologist doing research.
I am looking forward to being elected and serving the people of the City of Los Angeles
We must work together as a cohesive force to improve our city.

Energy sources and conservation
ReplyDeleteOur energy sources should not be limited to PV/Solar.
It should be a combination of PV/Wind and many instances Geothermal.
There are also Tidal and Wave Energy, Thermal, Fuel cell, etc.
You could also use renewable energy to convert water into hydrogen which would give you fuel to power generators and cars. We should utilize renewable energy for desalinization and transport the water to its ultimate destination.
People have to realize that in order for this approach to be successful.
We need everyone on board to work together for this common goal.
The Government, Corporate America and the people of the United States must make a commitment to this cause and pursue it relentlessly.
Above all that, people have to concentrate on energy efficiency.
“It is cheaper to save energy than make energy”
Many people have to monitor their habits and be conscience of their daily habits in the use of energy and utilities. In changing your daily habits peoples can cut their energy costs between 30-60%, without any physical modification. Tests have proven for this to be correct. Imagine how much more you can conserve and save if you made some minor physical modifications.
There are many programs available to anyone which helps achieve these goals.
It is educating the public to conserve and not waste that will make the difference.
As a nation United States consumes more resources than any other country in the world.
Today’s economic crisis should serve as an impetus to implement a mission of conserving resources for all of the people in the United States. Conserve resources for our sake and the sake of future generations.

Will accountability renew trust?
ReplyDeleteIn the wake of the recent revelations of US politicians financial expenses abuses, provoked the last straw for the American populace. The continuous erosion of public trust met the usual swathe of promises; assurances which only demurred into a flagrant ignoring of public opinion finally diminished the last vestige of respect. The people now demand full accountability, even for what could be, in perspective, minor conflagrations. The widespread ire is compounded in further transparently obvious favoritism of who is encouraged to fall on their sword and who is conferred leniency.
This episode has brought into sharp clarity the need for full transparency and accountant ability from politicians, who are, in fact, public servants, and drawing very adequate salaries, backed up with substantial pensions. It is the opinion of the Relationship Capital Institute that politicians need to bring a new level of responsible governance that forges a renewed trust, for without it, both they and the public suffer crises that stymie positive recovery in a time of considerable recession and all suffer.
I suggest that they set up a department that educates politicians on what it is to create relationship capital and how the bedrock of values that resources the building of such a necessary quality will renew and restore the peoples trust.
